Melody and the Overtones

Melody Parton

As the daughter of a musician, Melody grew up with a love for making music.  She started playing clarinet at age 10, and continued to study the instrument through her first year of college at the University of Georgia’s music department.  Melody began to develop her vocal talents while touring with the international troupe Up With People, and has maintained a passion for performance ever since. Local projects include Hot Tomato (jazz standards) Josh Gold Blues Ensemble, and her current focus Melody and the Overtones.
